If you have a concern about a child’s safety or welfare
If you have a concern about a child’s safety or welfare contact the NSPCC Helpline on 0808 800 5000. You can call Monday-Friday between 8am-10pm or weekends between 9am-6pm. Or you can email them at help@nspcc.org.uk.
You can read more about the guidance and support they provide. You can choose to remain anonymous when contacting the NSPCC Helpline.
Alternatively, you can speak with your local council children’s services. They may be called the MASH, children’s support and advice service, duty team or front door for families etc. Your local council website will provide information and contact details – search for child protection and safeguarding.
If you believe someone is in immediate danger, you should call 999.
