Educational Opportunities
Learning opportunities and guidance for paediatricians and other child health professionals in the complex and sensitive area of safeguarding
We work to protect children from harm by providing doctors with the essential competencies required in their child protection practice.
Child protection continues to evolve, with particular changes in knowledge and focus occurring in the last 10 years. As a result, there is a necessity for updating and further training in child protection matters.
These courses are not mandatory but can support your continuing professional development. They have been developed in line with Safeguarding children and young people: roles and competences for healthcare staff.
Compass gives you access to quality assured courses to support your professional development and clinical practice. RCPCH members can sign in via their RCPCH online account; others may register for an account directly on Compass.
