Child Protection Portal is managed by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. Founded in 1996 and with members in the UK and internationally, we play a major role in postgraduate medical education, professional standards, research and policy.

If you have concerns about a child’s safety or welfare, contact the children’s social care service of the local authority where the child lives or the NSPCC Helpline on 0808 800 5000 or help@nspcc.org.uk. In an emergency situation, contact the police.
